Department scorecard · Campaign attribution retained through viable signed agreements
Design prototype · Not connected to live data. Dashes mean unavailable, not zero. Campaign attribution is confirmed for mailing signed agreements. Select a campaign to view its proposed drill-down. Filters currently display the selected context only and do not recalculate results.

Viable Signed Agreement—Confirmed viable
Marketing conversion ends at Viable Signed Agreement. Outreach/research units differ by campaign, so rates are calculated within each campaign. Signed Fee is reported separately in the scorecard and comparison table when an agreement is signed, regardless of later filing.
04 / Campaign comparison
Monthly management review · drill down by campaign, state, and batch| Campaign | Production unit | Volume | Signed Agreement | Signed Agreement conversion | Spend | Cost / Signed Agreement | Signed Fee |
|---|
Signed Agreement conversion uses the campaign-specific eligible acquisition base. The Marketing Summary uses weighted totals only where denominators are compatible. No inferred response counts for direct mail.
Management Attention / Measurement Rules
Each rule is listed separately so management, developers, and campaign owners can review it independently.
Direct Marketing
Do not use Qualified Leads or Response Rate. Measure mail pieces sent, mailing goal achievement, campaign cost, signed agreements attributed to the mailing batch, mail-to-signed conversion, and cost per signed agreement.
Email Marketing
Measure emails delivered, replies, interested replies, signed agreements, campaign spend, and email-to-signed conversion. Keep email-specific engagement metrics inside the Email drill-down.
RAD Accelerator
Measure cases researched, viable cases identified, signed agreements, research cost, and cost per signed agreement. Track high-value estate opportunities separately from standard mail and email outreach.
Stagnant Claim
Measure cases assessed, recoverable or reactivated cases, signed agreements, campaign spend, and cost per signed agreement. Define reactivation consistently before calculating its rate.
Calling Attribution
Calling is a Sales activity, not a separate marketing acquisition channel. Preserve the original campaign and batch when a CCC follows up and obtains a signed agreement.
Signed Agreement
Use RAD terminology “Signed Agreement” for all signed agreements. For the Viable Signed Agreement KPI, count only signed agreements whose viability has been confirmed. Do not treat these two counts as interchangeable.
Signed Fee
Signed Fee is the expected RAD fee on a signed agreement, whether or not the claim is later filed. Never label it Signed Fee. Record it once per eligible signed agreement, using the agreed fee estimate and adjustments.
Reporting Period
Outreach and agreements signed during the selected period are activity metrics. Signed Fee is recognized at signature; viability confirmation may happen later. Use consistent event dates and cohorts. Provide both event-date and originating-campaign-cohort views to avoid misleading comparisons.
Signed Fee vs Submitted Fee
Signed Fee = expected RAD fee on signed agreements, including agreements that may never be filed. Submitted Fee begins only after filing and belongs to Operations and Executive reporting. Keep these separate fields and event dates.
Data Quality
A dash (—) means missing or not integrated. Zero means a verified zero. Do not calculate conversion or cost-per-agreement when the denominator is zero or missing.
Cost Allocation
Campaign spend must have an agreed definition and a campaign/batch identifier. Include direct acquisition costs consistently. Do not mix campaign-only costs with company-wide overhead unless clearly labeled.
Marketing Summary
Do not combine mail pieces, emails delivered, researched cases, and assessed claims into one conversion denominator. Show campaign-specific conversion rates in their drill-downs.
Executive Dashboard Boundary
Section 03 stops at Viable Signed Agreement. Claim filing, approval, payment, and full claim-cycle reporting belong on the Executive or Operations Dashboard.

Implementation boundary
This is a front-end prototype, not a live application. The filters and campaign navigation are visual; the production implementation must query your backend, apply date/state/claim-type filters, enforce access permissions, and return calculated values. Do not ship static placeholders as live metrics.
Core data fields
| Entity | Required fields | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Campaign | campaign_id, campaign_name, campaign_type, state, budget | Campaign grouping and filtering |
| Batch / sequence | batch_id, campaign_id, send_date, production_unit, volume, cost | Outreach and acquisition costs |
| Lead / case | lead_id, originating_campaign_id, originating_batch_id, claim_type, state, assigned_ccc_id | Stable original attribution; calling remains Sales |
| Agreement | agreement_id, lead_id, signed_at, viability_status, viability_confirmed_at | Unique Signed Agreement and Viable Signed Agreement counts |
| Agreement fee | agreement_id, signed_at, signed_fee_amount, fee_currency, fee_adjusted_at | Signed Fee recognized at signature; no filing required |
| Cost | cost_id, campaign_id, batch_id, cost_date, cost_type, amount | Auditable spend by campaign / batch |
KPI formulas and guardrails
| KPI | Calculation | Scope |
|---|---|---|
| Signed Agreement | COUNT(DISTINCT agreement_id) where signed_at is set | By signing date, campaign and state |
| Viable Signed Agreement | COUNT(DISTINCT agreement_id) where signed_at is set and viability_status = confirmed_viable | By signing date or viability confirmation date; select one and label it |
| Mail-to-signed conversion | Signed agreements attributed to batch ÷ mail pieces sent by batch × 100 | Same mailing cohort; don't compare an immature batch to a mature one without aging |
| Cost per Signed Agreement | Campaign spend ÷ attributable signed agreements | Use same campaign/cohort basis for numerator and denominator |
| Cost per Viable Signed Agreement | Campaign spend ÷ viable signed agreements | Use same campaign/cohort basis |
| Budget utilization | Spend ÷ approved budget × 100 | Selected period; null when budget absent or zero |
| Signed Fee | SUM(signed_fee_amount) on distinct signed agreements, with approved adjustments | Submitted-at date for period view; originating campaign for cohort view |

Developer acceptance checklist
- All filters recalculate both summary and drill-down metrics from the same filtered dataset.
- Clicking a campaign opens state → batch/sequence → lead/case → agreement details.
- Unique IDs prevent duplicate agreements when multiple CCC calls or touches exist.
- Signed Fee is recognized on signature and is not contingent on filing; keep it distinct from Signed Fee, approved fees and collected fees.
- Show selected reporting basis (activity period vs campaign cohort) and data freshness.
- Show zero, unavailable, and not-applicable as distinct states.
- Support permission-controlled record links, export, mobile layout, and error/loading states.
- Preserve the original acquisition source even when Calling produces the final signature.
